West Bridgford Wanders in a time of Lockdown.

I am creating a series of portraits, glimpsing into the lives of people in West Bridgford and the local area, during Lockdown, using my daily permitted walk.

From the pavement, at a socially permitted distance, taking a snapshot into gardens or doorways, documenting how these unprecedented times are being felt by people in our community. I’d love to include you in this project, be it a family portrait in the doorway, the children playing on the chalk drawings down Selby and Musters Road, water fights in the front garden, sat reading from a window or faces smudged up against the window glass!

I’d also love to capture the wonderful support that the community is providing from sewing scrubs to 3d printers and PPE, food bank drops to delivering meals. Sensible or silly ideas, drop me a message if you’d like to be involved.

At the minute, photos are being uploaded to www.facebook.com/alijphotos but they will also appear here shortly.
